While every member of girl group LOONA (Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, Olivia Hye) has won a favorable decision in their contract termination lawsuit against the agency Blockberry Creative (hereafter Blockberry), freeing them up for entertainment activities, Blockberry still has no plans to give up.

As all have won their injunctions in the lawsuit to suspend the effect of their exclusive contracts, it seems that they will not experience significant restrictions on their activities for the time being. But the matter is not closed, legally speaking. Indeed, Blockberry appears to be banking on a reversal in the primary lawsuits.
Blockberry has already objected to the ruling in their primary suit against Chuu, who is already preparing for solo activities, in a case they lost in August. They have appealed, and a hearing is scheduled for October.
Further, Blockberry is also currently engaged in a second primary suit in the Seoul Northern District Court. The SNDC’s 11th Civil Suits Division (Na) has scheduled a second hearing date for November 16th, in the case to determine non-existence of exclusive contract effect involving Heejin, Jinsoul, Kim Lip, and Choerry.
Speaking with StarNews, Blockberry officials continue to maintain that “We have done nothing wrong. We find it simply absurd.”
